About:
Kristen’s passion for movement and its impact on living and aging well led her to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Health Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She specialized in kinesiology, exercise anatomy and physiology, chronic health conditions, and behavior change techniques, laying a strong foundation for her career.
With over 20 years of experience as a ballerina and competition dancer, Kristen transitioned to athletic training, where she helped dancers achieve their physical goals. She later became a Women’s Wellness Coach, empowering women on transformative journeys focused on weight management, body education, and lasting habit change.
Kristen’s expertise extends to working as an Exercise Specialist at a respected orthopedic organization, guiding patients through customized exercise recovery programs. She also trained in Pilates and Calisthenics, adding depth to her approach to fitness and well-being.
In addition to her physical training, Kristen is a certified Patient Advocate and Healthcare Compliance Officer with over 25 years of leadership experience in clinical healthcare settings. Passionate about injury prevention and comprehensive care, she actively participates in ACSM conferences, sharing her knowledge with peers. Kristen’s dedication to health and wellness shines through in her diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Studio Philosophy:
At our studio, we believe fitness is about more than just exercise—it's about privacy, empowerment, and understanding the unique journey women take with their bodies. I’ve personally experienced the frustration of not knowing how to care for myself in a way that honors my needs, and it’s disheartening to feel out of place in a crowded gym or struggle to keep up in a group class, feeling like the weakest link.
